    Te Pou | Mō mātou

    Te Pou is the national centre of workforce development for the New
    Zealand mental health, addiction and disability sectors. Blueprint for Learning
    is our partner learning and development organisation. We support organisations
    to implement policy, and plan and develop their workforce with practical
    resources, consultation, and education.

    Contract Details

  • Start Date: February 2026
  • Duration: Up to 5 months
  • Hours: Up to 20 hours per week

    We are seeking a skilled
    contractor to lead the development of Scopes of Practice for Aotearoa’s
    Consumer, Peer Support, and Lived Experience (CPSLE) workforce. This role is
    pivotal in shaping the future of lived experience roles across the mental
    health and addiction sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the sector at local and regional levels to gather insights.
  • Design and distribute a sector-wide survey to collect feedback.
  • Analyse input and draft individual scopes of practice for CPSLE roles.
  • Ensure alignment with best practice and sector expectations.

    Ideally you will have:

  • Strong understanding of lived experience roles within mental health and addiction service.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality written outputs.
  • Experience in consultation and collaborative processes.
