Credit Officer
Job Description
We're looking for a Credit Officer to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting business growth by coordinating credit-related activities during client onboarding and annual reviews. You will work closely with Front Office, Relationship Managers and Risk teams to ensure a smooth, efficient and well-prioritized credit process.
What you will do:
- Be the main contact for Relationship Managers and Sales teams on credit matters linked to onboarding and renewals;
- Drive the onboarding process end-to-end, ensuring requests are well defined, prioritized and delivered on time;
- Coordinate new credit requests, preparing clear business justifications and supporting approvals;
- Act as an interface between Front Office and Credit Risk teams throughout the credit assessment process;
- Monitor credit files, follow up on open points and escalate when needed;
- Support annual credit reviews and assist in managing client credit exposures;
- Contribute to reporting, monitoring and continuous improvement of onboarding and credit processes.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a related field;
- Good understanding of financial products and credit risk concepts;
- Strong analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset;
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with PowerPoint and Power BI is a plus;
- Familiarity with OTC derivatives documentation (ISDA/CSA, MRA, GMRA, MSLA) is an advantage;
- Fluent in English.
