About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager with a strong background in mechanical maintenance engineering to lead and deliver capital and maintenance‑related engineering projects across our operations nationally. This role is ideal for a hands‑on mechanical engineer who has progressed into project management and enjoys bridging the gap between site execution and strategic planning. You will be responsible for managing projects from concept through to commissioning ਅਤੇ ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met while maintaining operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, including plant upgrades, shutdowns, refurbishments, and asset replacements.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
• Coordinate internal maintenance teams, contractors, and external engineering consultants.
• Ensure{i} compliance with health & safety, quality, and engineeringAstictures.
• Oversee procurement, contractor performanceEzns, and cost control.
• Manage commissioning, handover, and documentation.
• Report on project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.

About you

You are a technically strong mechanical engineer with proven project delivery experience in a maintenance or operational environment.

• Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering.
• Solid experience Wat mechanical maintenance engineering (industrial, manufacturing, utilities or similar).
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects end to end.
• Strong understanding of plant equipment, reliability, and maintenance strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High safety awareness and practical problem‑solving ability.
• Formal project‑management qualification (PMP, Prince2, or similar).
• Experience managing shutdowns and brownfield projects.
• Budget and contract management experience.Leadership experience with multi‑disciplinary teams.
