Job Description

As a Financial Controller your responsibilities are:


  • Managing and overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

  • Preparing accurate financial reports and forecasts to support decision-making processes.

  • Consolidation of financials KPIs.

  • Review, analyse and comment on the performance of business units.

  • Monitoring and analyzing financial performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborating with other departments to establish budgets and financial strategies.

  • Leading financial audits and implementing effective internal controls.

  • Providing recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and process optimizations.

  • Supporting senior management with financial insights and analyses.


A successful Financial Controller should have:


  • A degree in Finance or accounting or a related field.

  • 5/6 years of experience in financial roles, ideally in retail.

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

  • Proven expertise in financial reporting and analysis.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.

  • Ability to work effectively in the retail industry environment.

  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
