Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Johannesburg for a Group Finance Manager. The Group Finance Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, budgeting, analyzing financial performance, managing cash flow, and supporting decision-making processes. The role also involves leading the finance team, implementing financial strategies, and identifying opportunities to improve financial management and organizational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong financial and accounting expertise, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management
- Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to provide strategic insights for decision-making
- Leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide finance teams
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and experience with relevant financial systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- CA(SA), or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting is a must
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial management experience; senior or group-level financial experience is a plus
