Crowne Plaza Resort Petra is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our pre-opening team. This role plays a key part in supporting daily human resources operations, ensuring full compliance with IHG standards and local labor legislation, and contributing to a positive, engaging, and well-structured colleague experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle
Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
Manage timekeeping processes, including attendance tracking, shift records, and coordination with departments to ensure accurate payroll inputs
Monitor attendance, leave balances, and overtime records in line with company policy and labor law
Ensure compliance with IHG policies, procedures, and Jordanian labor regulations
Assist in onboarding, colleague relations, and general HR administrative processes
Contribute to building a positive workplace culture during the pre-opening phase
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels
Good command of spoken and written English
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of HR systems, timekeeping platforms, employee records management, and local labor regulations
