The Opportunity
This is a hands-on HSE Manager role overseeing safety, quality and environmental compliance across multiple live projects in Queensland.
You’ll take ownership of the company’s HSE systems and standards, ensuring they’re implemented consistently across sites, while mentoring and developing site-based HSE Advisors and operational teams.
While primarily Brisbane-based, the role also covers a Sunshine Coast project – travel is required, but not weekly. This suits someone who enjoys being on the ground, visible on site, and actively improving safety culture rather than sitting behind a desk.

This privately owned Tier 2 builder delivers large-scale multi-residential, aged care and mixed-use developments, with projects typically ranging from $50M - $270M+. They’re known for strong developer relationships, repeat work, and a collaborative internal culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing HSE compliance across multiple projects in SEQ.
• Managing and improving the company’s HSE systems, standards and IMS.
• Supporting site-based HSE Advisors and operational teams to lift safety performance.
• Conducting site audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Maintaining a strong site presence to drive safety culture and accountability.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a senior or management-level HSE role within construction.
• Strong background in multi-residential projects $50M+
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and travelling to the Sunshine Coast as required.
