Role Summary
The
Inbound sales representative
is a client-focused, inbound sales role responsible for guiding prospective clients through their initial engagement with TFX. This role supports clients from first inquiry through to a signed engagement letter and completed payment, ensuring they clearly understand our services, process, and pricing.
While this role does not provide tax advice,
we expect sales representatives to develop a strong working understanding of US expat tax principles and the services TFX offers
. Ongoing training and education are provided, and sales representatives are expected to take this learning seriously in order to confidently explain concepts at a high level, answer general informational questions, and recognize when to involve the tax team. The stronger a sales representative's understanding of our services, the more effective they will be in building trust and guiding clients forward.
This is a consultative role focused on clarity, trust, and coordination. Sales representatives work closely with qualified CPAs for any technical tax guidance, while remaining responsible for overall client ownership during the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound leads from first contact through payment collection
- Conduct phone (Calendly / AirCall) consultations with prospective clients
- Explain TFX services, process, timelines, and pricing clearly
- Coordinate with CPAs for accurate service scoping, without providing tax advice
- Guide clients through engagement letter signing and onboarding
- Handle objections and pricing questions professionally
- Secure payment and maintain accurate deal records in HubSpot
- Identify occasional upsell opportunities where appropriate
- Meet monthly revenue targets based on deals closed.
- Tools you will use:
HubSpot CRM, AirCall, Calendly, Intercom, Slack, Internal systems and CPA collaboration tools
Qualifications
- Experience in inbound or consultative sales required
- Prior exposure to U.S. tax, accounting, or financial services preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong objection handling and closing skills
- Highly organised with disciplined follow up
- Comfortable working remotely across time zones
Compensation
- Base salary: USD 2,000 per month
- Lucrative commission structure based on cash collected
