Infrastructure Solutions Architect Perm Role - Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) - Cape Town What will make you successful in this role? Design and maintain infrastructure solution architecture overviews and diagrams. Provide technical consultancy to service line managers and IT architects. Present and obtain solution design approval at relevant architecture or quotation forums. Determine sequence of events for infrastructure changes and reduce impact on business. Design and present infrastructure solution overviews and their associated quotations. Complete infrastructure due diligence exercises for new business client take-on projects. Logging and coordination of infrastructure related changes across multiple teams. Drafting of proposed billing models and partner with the finance team for implementation. Consult service line managers during priority incidents to ensure quick resolution. Architect and implement highly available solutions that can also be utilized in a disaster. Verify that service provider baseline architectures are up to date. Complete the end-of-life infrastructure hardware replacement quotations. Complete functional testing of deployments to ensure implementation aligns to architecture design. Qualification Grade 12 Relevant IT Diploma or Degree will be an advantage Hardware Certified Engineer VMware Certified Engineer Relevant accredited courses or IT certifications (A+, N+, S+) Recommended certifications: Microsoft Certified Engineer Linux Certified Engineer Storage Certified Engineer Post Matric Qualification MS Visio or Draw.io experience TOGAF or Zachman Framework Project Management ITIL Duties & Responsibilities Infrastructure Solutions Architect Desired Experience & Qualification Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
