Role Overview

We're looking for a
Junior Web Developer
to join our team on a
part-time contract basis
, with the opportunity to transition into a
full-time role
over time. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is comfortable owning tasks end to end with light guidance and enjoys working across modern web technologies.

You'll support and extend an existing marketing and attribution platform, contribute to client-facing features, and collaborate closely with the team in a fully remote, async-friendly environment.

What You'll Be Working On

• Maintain and extend a
  PHP/MySQL marketing and attribution platform
  .
• Build and ship
  client-specific HTML, CSS, and JavaScript customizations
  .
• Ensure integrations with
  Shopify, Facebook, Google, and TikTok
  remain stable and up to date.
• Build and improve
  React (Vite) onboarding flows and dashboards
  , wiring UI to existing APIs and analytics ).
• Add and adjust
  (ESM) endpoints
  , including:
• Onboarding flows
• SSO cookies and JWT handling
• Slack alerts and notifications
• Facebook OAuth
• Write and maintain
  SQL queries and migrations
  as needed.
• Implement and update
  pixels, tags, and modes
  across multiple brand JavaScript bundles.
• Ensure
  CORS, session handling, and security patterns
  remain intact.
• Collaborate via
  GitHub
  , use embedded AI workflows in
  Cursor
  , and follow existing build, deploy, and documentation standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years
  of experience building and supporting production web applications.
• Strong
  PHP 8
  and
  MySQL
  skills (queries, transactions, prepared statements).
• Solid
  (modern ESM)
  experience, including:
• HTTP handling
• Cookies and JWT
• MySQL (mysql2)
• Writing and maintaining raw SQL
• Experience with
  React 18 + Vite
  , React Router, and building polished UIs.
• Strong understanding of
  HTML/CSS
  with attention to UI detail.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs such as:
• Google Ads
• Facebook Graph / OAuth
• Shopify
• Comfortable posting and handling
  Slack webhooks
  .
• Able to debug
  CORS, session, and authentication issues
  .
• Familiar with basic security practices (rate limits, payload size limits, input validation).
• Comfortable working
  part-time, fully remote
  , with the ability to scale hours over time.
• Clear, proactive communicator in async tools.
