Pastoral Liaison, Stella Maris
Permanent Full-time OR 2 x Part-time (Job share)
Stella Maris is an agency of the Archdiocese of Perth. Stella Maris supports the Mission of the Church in the areas of relief of poverty, suffering, destitution, distress and helplessness among seafarers and their families in accordance with the beliefs, values, traditions and social teaching of the Catholic Church.
This role supports the Coordinator for Stella Maris in areas of spiritual, social and material welfare to all seafarers in the Kwinana Port. You will work with volunteers & relevant personnel in the Port and parish to provide pastoral care and support to seafarers.

The successful candidate must be compassionate and have strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse groups of people and across different faiths. The candidate will also be able work independently and collaboratively when required. A valid National Police Clearance, Working with Children Checks, WA Driver’s licence, Maritime Security Identification Card, Fremantle Port Access Card and proof of Right to Work in Australia are required.
