This role is based in our Otemachi Financial City office.
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for devising and delivering strategic campaign activity for Omdia, the Intelligence and Advisory brand of Informa TechTarget. The primary focus of the role will be supporting revenue growth goals by creating compelling content campaigns, engaging audience, as well as driving leads and event attendees.
Collaborating with the wider marketing team, sales, events, product, and research, the Marketing Manager will create and deliver the Japan marketing plan. Instrumental to your success will be identifying personas and growing the local audience database, as well steering the design and delivery of Japan based events.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Development & Execution
Develop and execute year-round marketing campaigns, aligned to the overall business goals and objectives, as well as market-segment specific goals and objectives.Work on the ideation, execution, and management of integrated marketing, communications, and demand generation/lead generation campaigns through web, digital advertising, paid media and media partnerships, email, social media, and other tactics.Build insight-based campaigns which rely on strong content themes to showcase the expertise and knowledge in the division.Event Management
Own the development and delivery of free and paid events in Japan, the Omdia Display Japan Forum.Website & Content Management
Work on making the Omdia website the central point of all content-led, insights-driven lead generation campaigns, owning the development of localized copy, calls to action, and customer journey for marketing campaigns, based on target customer segments, campaign goals, and desired results.Ensure consistent use of established branding, core value proposition messaging, imagery, and positioning across internal and external marketing materials, graphics, communications, and more.Relationship Management
Maintain internal relationships (SEM, SEO, design, vertical teams, web dev teams etc.) and external relationships with relevant vendors and partners.Analytics & Performance Optimization
Interpret and analyze marketing/advertising campaign results and data; test, monitor, analyze and optimize according to KPIs; develop recommended strategies, timelines, and tactics to further optimize marketing spend and campaign ROI.Analyze and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns.Budget Management
Manage the marketing budget for assigned projects/market segments – planning, monitoring, and reconciliation.Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or relevant experienceExperience in progressively more complex B2B campaigns, creating and managing digital content/insights campaigns independentlyMarketing Expertise
Thorough understanding & experience of marketing function, planning, operations, and execution using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua), training and optimizationExperience of working with CMS platforms (but coding knowledge not required), training and optimizationThorough understanding & experience of digital (PPC, SEM, SEO, online advertising) and content marketingEvent & Campaign Management
Proven track record of delivering event marketing campaigns, as well as managing logistical arrangementsBudget & Database Management
