Archibat HR is looking for a Mid-Senior Level Interior Architect / Designer for an International Design firm to be based in South Africa, Cape Town.

We are seeking a talented and driven Interior Architect or Designer with significant experience to become a key member of our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to prestigious global projects while operating from their Cape Town studio, with direct accountability to their Dubai-based design leadership.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Partner with leadership in Dubai to conceive and articulate design visions for luxury residential and hospitality sectors.
• Develop comprehensive design documentation, including technical drawings, material palettes, and client presentations.
• Employ a suite of tools—from conceptual hand sketches to AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite—to produce detailed visualizations and construction-ready deliverables.
• Oversee and coordinate a project team to ensure timely milestone achievement.
• Integrate cutting-edge trends, materials, and sustainable practices into project work.
• Play a lead role in creating FF&E specifications and contributing to design proposals.
• Provide mentorship and support to developing designers, enhancing team capability.
• Uphold stringent quality, brand, and compliance standards across all project phases.
• Engage in strategic value engineering to balance aesthetic goals with budgetary parameters.
• Maintain meticulous project organization and oversee essential administrative workflows.

Required profile

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Holds an accredited degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Exhibits mastery in spatial design, aesthetic principles, and furniture/finish curation.
• Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
• Possesses a meticulous, self-motivated approach and a commitment to excellence.
• Outstanding verbal and visual communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Proven background in high-end, international design with a portfolio showcasing luxury residential or F&B projects.
• Exceptional ability to prioritize, manage timelines, and deliver under pressure.
• Demonstrates robust project management discipline and organizational acumen.
