MultiomicsSales Specialist – Central Europe

The Role

As aMultiomicsSales Specialist here at Illumina, you will be at the forefront of driving adoption of next-generation sequencing (NGS) solutions that powermultiomicsresearch and analysis. This role is pivotal in supporting academic and clinical institutions, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across the Central Europe Subregion. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver Illumina’s integratedmultiomicsportfolio, enabling breakthroughs in genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, and proteomics.

Why You

You are a dynamic, results-driven professional with strongexpertisein at least two omics disciplines - such as transcriptomics (single-cell or spatial), epigenetics, or proteomics. You thrive in consultative sales environments, combining scientific knowledge with commercial acumen to deliver value to customers. You are proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about advancingmultiomicstechnologies. A PhD in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, or Biochemistry is highly desirable, though an MSc with relevant laboratory experience will also be considered.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.

Proven ability toidentifycustomer needs, articulate value propositions, and lead successful sales engagements.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel extensively across the region (approx. 60%).

A valid drivinglicenceis essential for this role.

Fluency in business Englishrequired;additionalEastern European languages (e.g., Polish, Czech) are an advantage.

Drive Commercial Success

Own and deliver themultiomicssales budget for Central Europe.

Develop and execute a strategic business plan for themultiomicssegment in your territory.

Customer Engagement & Technical Expertise

Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through applications, assay design, and data interpretation.

Deliver compelling product presentations and lead consultative discussions toshowcaseIllumina’smultiomicssolutions.

Enablement & Collaboration

Train and support the sales team to strengthen their understanding of Illumina’smultiomicsvalue proposition.

Work cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and service teams to align customer needs with companyobjectives.

Market Development

Expand and nurture a network of service providers dedicated tomultiomicsproducts.

Stay informed about emerging trends to shape effective sales strategies.

Represent Illumina at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
