Constructive PD (CPD) is a leading commercial construction contractor specialising in façade and roofing solutions across Western Australia. With a strong reputation for delivery, safety and quality, CPD is entering its next phase of strategic growth and is seeking an experienced New Business Manager to lead this journey.
Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role accountable for driving sustainable business growth in line with CPD’s strategic plan. You will lead market development, client acquisition and end-to-end bid management, securing profitable work that aligns with operational capacity and long-term objectives. You will also play a key role in market diversification, expanding service offerings and developing new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities across commercial façade, roofing and complementary construction markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders, architects and key industry stakeholders
- Lead tender planning, estimating coordination and bid submissions to ensure competitive positioning and margin targets are achieved
- Maintain a structured and transparent sales pipeline and provide regular reporting on pipeline health, forecasting and conversion metrics
- Provide leadership, mentoring and development to the new business and estimating team
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Operations to ensure strong pre-contract handovers and successful project delivery
- Oversee sales and marketing activities including capability statements, corporate presentations and strategic partnerships
- Contribute to annual strategy planning, budgeting and quarterly strategy reviews with the Senior Management Team
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in business development within commercial construction
- Demonstrated success securing Tier 1 or large-scale commercial construction contracts
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement pathways and commercial risk
- Established network and high-level knowledge of the WA commercial construction market
- Strategic, commercially astute and results-driven with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative leader who can build high-performing teams and strong internal relationships
