Key Responsibilities
- Act as a producer and technical specialist, working closely with clients on casualty facultative placements.
- Collaborate with London colleagues to secure reinsurance capacity for casualty lines including: Umbrella, Excess CGL, D&O, E&O, Cyber, and Product Recall.
- Translate underwriting information and policy wordings (or coordinate outsourcing) for submission to reinsurers.
- Handle reinsurer inquiries, liaising with clients’ underwriters to provide responses and facilitate negotiations.
- Mitigate reinsurer terms unfavorable to clients by gathering additional information and negotiating alternatives.
- Review quotes and prepare market sheets and summaries for client underwriters’ consideration.
