Department Overview

The BTM Business Group offers Racco, a business travel management service for corporate clients.
Face-to-face communication is essential in any business, and business travel will not disappear in the future. By implementing the appropriate BTM tools, business travel can be managed centrally from arrangement to reimbursement, not only reducing costs, but also increasing productivity through improved convenience.

Position Details

The main mission of the Partner Sales Division is to expand the number of corporations using the "Racco" business trip management service by partnering with various alliance companies (partners), including major travel agencies. The Sales Department will conduct a wide range of sales activities, from liaison and operation work to sales and sales promotion planning, while communicating with the alliance partners.
The environment is open and open, with detailed activities for each business partner and business activity, and it is easy to implement strategic plans created by the candidate himself/herself.
You will be responsible for taking the initiative in communicating with business partners, as well as promoting the growth of younger members as a leader.

Specifically
- Respond to inquiries from business partners and handle new contracts.
- Attend sales meetings with companies through our business partners or companies introduced by our business partners.
- Propose sales promotion measures and sales promotion plans based on the situation in order to achieve the sales target of the partner company.
- Day-to-day sales management and performance reporting.
- Leading young members, setting goals, and sales support activities.
The person in charge of the partner (corporate side) is mainly the person in charge of the general sales contact, Each person is in charge of about 5 to 10 business partners.
Although most of the work is usually done in the office, face-to-face communication is also emphasized, and there will be times when you will meet in person or go on business trips (within Japan).
Daily communication is handled via email, telephone, and online meetings.
Technical questions are handled by BTM's business support team, and simple questions from users are handled by BTM's dedicated call center staff.

Work Environment

The BTM Business Group operates its services in a diverse range of departments, from marketing to system support.
The group has about 20 members, mostly young members in their 20s and 30s, and has a calm, cheerful, and upbeat atmosphere.

We have employees who transferred from different divisions of Rakuten Group, as well as mid-career employees. We have people from a variety of backgrounds working for us.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Corporate sales experience (3 years or more)

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience working in the travel industry
- Experience in proposal/solution/consulting type sales
- Experience managing small teams

Since there will be opportunities to give presentations, it is important to have presentation skills as well as the ability to teach product knowledge and sales know-how in an easy-to-understand manner.
It is also important to have the human skills to build a relationship of trust with the contact person at the partner company. In the sales team, you will need to be able to quickly understand customer issues, grasp the situation among multiple companies, and negotiate with them. Attention to detail and consideration for others are also essential.
