The Opportunity
CK Connect is offering a rare opportunity for an experienced senior recruiter to step into a Principal Consultant / Practice Lead role with genuine influence over strategy, growth, and commercial outcomes.
This is not a standard billing role.
We are seeking a proven operator who wants to move beyond commission-only thinking and into ownership-style recruitment — helping shape a growing specialist firm while being rewarded for long-term value creation.
CK Connect operates nationally across enterprise technology and transformation programs, working with organisations across:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Azure & Data
- Power Platform
- ERP / CRM environments
We are now strengthening our senior leadership capability and looking for someone who can help scale our recruitment practice while contributing at a strategic level.
About the Role
As Principal Consultant / Practice Lead, you will:
- Take ownership of a senior recruitment desk or practice area
- Leverage and expand existing client relationships
- Build and maintain a strong contractor and candidate network
- Drive commercial outcomes, not just activity metrics
- Mentor consultants as the team grows
- Work closely with the founder on strategy, growth, and market positioning
This is a senior role for someone who wants autonomy, influence, and real accountability .
Who We’re Looking For
This role suits someone who:
- Is currently operating at Principal, Associate Director, or Practice Lead level
- Has proven contract recruitment experience within agency environments
- Brings an established network of clients and/or candidates
- Thinks commercially and is comfortable owning numbers, margins, and growth plans
- Wants to move beyond capped commission into a role with profit share and potential equity
You may be:
- Topped out in a large agency with limited upside
- Carrying a desk or team without seeing the full reward
- Considering going solo but wanting the backing of a proven platform
The Commercial Model
