We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer in Hawke’s Bay to join a dynamic and growing civil and infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and coordinating projects from conception to completion, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout the process. You’ll work closely with design, procurement, and construction teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans and schedules to meet milestones
- Prepare contractual and quality assurance documentation
- Manage resources and monitor progress
- Produce regular project and financial reports
- Maintain strong client and supplier relationships
- Drive adherence to Health & Safety and environmental standards

About You
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Engineering role within construction or contracting
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
