Working within the Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG), you'll manage one or multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and quality standards.You'll be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, oversee project planning and execution, and ensure compliance with regulatory and Health NZ policies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys building strong relationships, and is passionate about delivering infrastructure that supports better health outcomes for all New Zealanders**About the Team/Service/ Location**The IIG team are focused on delivering high impact infrastructure investments that support the transformation of New Zealand's health system.Giving support, oversight and assurance across projects and programmes, the team understand that safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment are essential for a well-functioning health system that improves the health of all New Zealanders.**About you**You bring a practical, hands-on approach to project delivery and a strong ability to turn plans into results. You're confident managing multiple priorities and navigating change, while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.Your experience includes leading projects from inception to completion, applying contemporary project management principles such as risk management and benefits realisation. You communicate clearly, influence effectively, and build positive relationships across diverse teams and external partners.You understand the importance of compliance and quality in health infrastructure projects and have a thorough knowledge of NZ building codes and regulatory requirements. You're committed to embedding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in your work and supporting equity in health outcomes.You value collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovationand you model an agile mindset, encourage new ideas, and create an environment where teams feel supported and motivated to deliver.**You will bring:*** A degree in engineering, project management, construction, or related field* Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MSP)* 5–10 years' experience managing projects across varied types* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills* Knowledge of NZ building codes and compliance requirements* Experience implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action* Desired: ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, SDLC; previous healthcare or government sector experience**Working for Health New Zealand**Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
