Position Summary
We are seeking a poised, confident, and service-oriented **Restaurant Hostess** to be the welcoming face of our dining venues. In this role, you will create exceptional first and last impressions by greeting guests warmly, managing reservations efficiently, and ensuring a seamless flow of service in alignment with InterContinental brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
+ Welcome guests with professionalism, warmth, and a genuine luxury attitude
+ Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments accurately and efficiently
+ Escort guests to their tables and present menus in line with service standards
+ Communicate effectively with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations
+ Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with confidence and courtesy
+ Handle guest inquiries and feedback with empathy and solution-focused service
+ Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual standards at the host desk and restaurant entrance
+ Uphold InterContinental brand values, grooming standards, and service culture at all times
Qualifications & Experience
+ Previous experience as a Hostess or in a guest-facing hospitality role preferred
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Well-groomed appearance with a confident and welcoming presence
+ Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
+ Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
+ Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
