Position: Sales Administration Manager – FMCG/Cosmetics (Tanzania)
Company Overview
A leading cosmetics manufacturer seeks an experienced professional to oversee the
complete sales order execution cycle and drive excellence in customer service and
operational delivery.
Position Summary
The Sales Administration Manager governs order intake, stock confirmation, dispatch
scheduling, and compliance, with accountability for delivering superior OTIF (OnTime In-Full) metrics and reducing backlogs in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Core Responsibilities
• Order Management & Customer Service:
• Central control of order intake via phone and email
• Order validation and customer finalization
• Proactive resolution of issues (OOS, split deliveries, substitutions)
• Stock & Production Coordination:
• Daily verification of available-to-promise (ATP) against physical stock
and approved production plans
• Trade Programs Execution:
• Implementation of sales promotions, incentives, and schemes
• Robust control and transparent reporting mechanisms
• Cross-Functional Leadership:
• Daily huddles and coordination with Sales, Production, and Logistics
• Single-point accountability for issue resolution until closure
• Compliance & Controls:
• Adherence to company SOPs and documentation standards
• Control of order-to-cash processes and pricing approvals
• Maintaining audit readiness
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); Postgraduate qualification preferred
• 10+ years in sales administration/order management within
FMCG/manufacturing
• Strong ERP proficiency
• Proven track record in OTIF improvement and backlog reduction
• Age: 32–45 years
Compensation & Benefits
• USD 1,800–2,500 per month
