Job Description

We are looking for a recent or soon-to-be graduate to kick-start their career as a Sales Technology Consultant. You’ll focus on helping clients shape and streamline their digital sales processes with a measurable business impact. You will define, build, and optimise CRM and customer data solutions that drive lead generation, increase sales, enhance customer service, and build customer loyalty.

Who we are

In 2016 Columbia Road was founded to challenge the old ways of doing digital business and running online sales – we exist to help our clients sell better in the digital era. This means we don’t do IT projects like most other companies, instead we work to improve our clients’ business results in a measurable way. Development, design, marketing technology, and strategy just happen to be the tools with which we create our impact.

A key part of our mission is to be an excellent place to work. We are a community-led organisation, which means that we trust our employees to make the best decisions about their work themselves. This company model is based on transparency and low hierarchy, and all employees have the opportunity to be involved in company-wide decision-making. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of how we define ourselves and everyone at Columbia Road is committed to these values.

We're looking for graduates who are eager to grow

You’re curious, motivated, and want to help companies better understand and connect with their customers. As a Sales Technology Consultant, you’ll work at the heart of our clients’ operations, helping them define, design, and implement the CRM solutions and technology needed to drive measurable business impact across the entire customer journey. You might, for example, create automated, data-driven sales processes to improve lead generation and sales efficiency, or develop new digital tools and customer portals that enhance service and build loyalty.

You’re eager to learn how to leverage different sales technologies and customer data to enable seamless, data-driven sales, marketing, and service processes across the entire customer journey. You want to gain hands‑on experience with CRM tool configurations, and develop your skills in areas like data‑driven sales practices and solutions. You’re analytical by nature and enjoy solving problems. You bring structure to uncertainty and stay focused under pressure. You’re ambitious and results‑oriented, but you also value having fun.

Columbia Road is a great place to accelerate your professional growth, and build broad experience across different business areas. We put a strong focus on learning and professional growth. You’re encouraged to explore your interests, and we’ll actively support your development.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have professional proficiency in the Finnish language as well as excellent written and oral skills in English.

Please note that we’re not able to offer the possibility of guiding thesis writing.

Professional benefits for you

  • Working at the core of our clients’ businesses; advising, designing and implementing the tech needed to drive the business forward
  • Working directly with the client - no middle management involved
  • A clear focus on digital sales, in both B2C and B2B
  • You’ll have the best people to work with and learn from in a truly flat organisation
  • Accelerated professional growth through project work, mentoring and lots of internal learning opportunities such as events, courses, certifications, and weekly learning sessions.

Requirements

  • You are interested in CRM technologies and understanding their technical components and capabilities
  • You think analytically and are comfortable working with data
  • You learn quickly and enjoy picking up new tools and concepts
  • You enjoy working with people and are motivated by solving real problems together with clients
  • Past experience in consulting or digital sales is valuable, but not necessary
  • You have graduated in the past couple of years or are graduating in the near future
  • Languages: professional proficiency in Finnish and English

Required hands‑on experience

  • Working with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot)
    • For example implementing and maintaining CRM automations based on business processes, configuring CRM objects, views or fields, maintaining data and supporting sales/marketing teams in their everyday use of the system
  • Using customer data from systems like Customer Data Platforms, marketing automation platforms, or customer service tools to generate insights or improve customer experience
    • For example segmenting audiences, analysing simple automations, or using data to inform improvements in sales or customer experience.

Hands‑on experience in the following is considered a bonus, but not required

  • Marketing Automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Account Engagement, Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Hubspot)
  • Experience in building AI powered use cases beyond prompting, and as a result acquired understanding of AI applications
  • Development skills, e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL etc.
  • Sales development or sales experience
  • Data analytics and business intelligence

Make sure you showcase your experience and knowledge as clearly as possible in your application, resume, and possible other attachments. We value examples and results from previous projects, and we’d love to know what concrete tools you used to get those results.

If you use AI when creating your application, we encourage you to do so mindfully. We’re eager to get to know the real you: your voice, your aspirations, and your personality, even if everything isn’t perfectly phrased.

Recruitment process

Please note that we will begin interviewing candidates during the application period and may hire as soon as we find the right person – so we encourage you to apply without delay! The start date is flexible and set for spring 2026.
