About the Role

Workday is seeking a versatile Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist to join our Deal Operations Team. Our employees are at the core of our business, which means the ideal candidate has a partnership mentality acting as a trusted advisor to guide and collaborate with Sales Executives on deal strategy and problem solving challenges to support non-standard deal closure. Success in the role requires a candidate that is analytical, detail oriented, process-minded and thrives in a fast-paced environment while efficiently multitasking.
 
As a Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist, you will assist Sales Account Executives (i) Develop strategies for a variety of deal scenarios, (ii) Support Sales throughout the deal cycles, (iii) Facilitate conversations across Customer Care, Legal, Finance, Deal Operations, and Sales teams, (iv) Perform deal calculations in the quoting tool and potentially offline in MS Excel/Google Sheets and prepare and modify contract documents, (v) Manage the negotiations process including redlines on commercial documents; (vi) Work in a flex model environment of 50% in office/50% remote each fiscal quarter.

Basic Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience or more working in Sales Operations, Deal Management, or Renewal Management.
· It is essential to be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Other Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
· Strong proficiency with Salesforce and Apttus.
· Ability to manipulate formulas in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
· Experience responding to contract edits, AKA "red lines."
· Demonstrated experience working with a fast-paced Sales team.
· Experience facilitating deal completion with adjacent teams, such as Legal, Revenue Recognition, and Deal Operations.
