This is a contract-based remote role for a Senior Web Developer/Project Lead. The ideal candidate should be able to lead web development projects, oversee design and implementation, and facilitate effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. You will also ensure that projects adhere to high-quality standards and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT qualification (or equivalent work experience) - minimum NQF 6 IT related qualification
- More than 5 years of experience leading web development projects - WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc
- Proficiency in Web Development, including both Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development
- Solid knowledge of Programming languages relevant to web development
- Skills in Web Design and User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design principles
- Proven ability to lead and manage technical projects effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
