Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) for the project, including policies, plans, procedures, and contractor requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of all construction activities performed by the EPC Contractor and subcontractors.
- Organize and lead quality audits, inspections, and test plans.
- Analyze quality performance, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
- Provide QA/QC reporting to the Project Management Team and promote a strong quality culture on site.
- Manage non-conformities and derogations until resolution.
- Lead and develop the QA/QC team (up to 50 personnel, including 10–15 direct reports).
- Collect lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Profile
- Education: Engineering degree or equivalent (advanced qualifications preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 15 years, including 5 years in QA/QC management on large-scale industrial projects (Oil & Gas, LNG, EPC).
- Skills:
- Strong HSE culture and safety leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of quality systems and international standards.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken). Portuguese or French is a plus.

- Remote site in Northern Mozambique with challenging logistics.
- Health and security risks mitigated by strict preventive measures.
