Site QA/QC Manager – LNG Onshore Project

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) for the project, including policies, plans, procedures, and contractor requirements.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of all construction activities performed by the EPC Contractor and subcontractors.
• Organize and lead quality audits, inspections, and test plans.
• Analyze quality performance, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
• Provide QA/QC reporting to the Project Management Team and promote a strong quality culture on site.
• Manage non-conformities and derogations until resolution.
• Lead and develop the QA/QC team (up to 50 personnel, including 10–15 direct reports).
• Collect lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Profile

• Education: Engineering degree or equivalent (advanced qualifications preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 15 years, including 5 years in QA/QC management on large-scale industrial projects (Oil & Gas, LNG, EPC).
• Skills:
  • Strong HSE culture and safety leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality systems and international standards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken). Portuguese or French is a plus.

• Remote site in Northern Mozambique with challenging logistics.
