Social Media & Community Coordinator - Freelance
Were seeking a Social Media & Community Coordinator (Freelance) to support Librería de Satoshi and B4OS.dev by executing day-to-day social media and community activities for our educational programs and developer community.
Youll help translate complex ideas around Bitcoin, open source, and education into clear, engaging social content, with a strong focus on community interaction and consistency across platforms.
This is a freelance, execution-focused role, ideal for someone who works well from clear briefs, communicates ideas clearly, and delivers reliably.
What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Social Media & Community Execution
Social Media Content: Create, publish, and schedule content across social platforms
(X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Telegram, others as needed)Content Adaptation: Turn long-form content (courses, talks, announcements) into social-ready formats
Copywriting: Write clear, engaging captions aligned with brand voice and tone
Community Support: Monitor and support community spaces (Discord, Telegram, social replies)
Engagement: Drive interaction and escalate relevant questions or feedback to the internal team
Coordination
Work from written briefs and content calendars provided by Marketing or Ops
Coordinate with design to request or reuse visual assets and templates
Ensure consistency with messaging, tone, and campaign goals
Were Looking For
1–3 years of experience managing social media and/or online communities
Excellent spelling and grammar in Spanish
Strong written communication skills in Spanish and English
Experience scheduling and structuring content based on briefs
Comfortable engaging with technical or educational communities
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Nice to have
Familiarity with Bitcoin, Lightning, FOSS, or tech education
Experience with tools like Metricool or similar
Canva and basic social analytics knowledge
Photo, video, motion, or basic editing skills
Willingness to travel 1–2 times per year
