1. Purpose of this Position:
To act as primary pre-sales technical interface between the partners or customers
To provide technical support & solutions to customers based on Moxa’s products.
To provide technical consulting and problem solving.
To provide technical training when necessary and delivery local seminars.
To manage additional assignments or projects as required by supervisor to achieve strategic objectives.
Ideally the candidate is located in Tokyo, Japan and will be required to travel throughout Japan to visit current / potential customers /partners and industry events.
2. Major Areas of Responsibility:
Work closely with the Sales and Business Development Manager
•To penetrate nominated Key Account or partners
•To support Sales/ Business Development Manager to answer request for proposal.
To provide technical support & solutions for customers & partners
•To resolve customer’s applications via technical expertise.
•To obtain customer’s satisfaction.
Project support in Pre-sales stage and Post-sales stage
•Tender Document study and analysis.
•To propose suitable solutions and POC(Proof Of Concept)for Moxa’s channels and end customers (Sometimes for Contractors or System Integrators).
•To illustrate proposal diagram and presentation for value proposition.
•Post-sale stage – For the project which FAE(Field application engineer) help on pre-sale TS(Technical Support) part, FAE need to support post-sale stage TS part for a period of time then transfer to TS team.
To support product issue solving
•To handle FAT (Factory Assurance Test) on demand
•To support customer’s product testing on demand.
•To support customer’s installation/configuration, especially for Key Account /Preferred Account.
To provide Internal/External technical training –
•Training for Network technology.
•Training for Installation/Configuration.
•Support Technical Team for case study in case study.
•Training for Industrial Applications.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements:
•College degree in Relevant Field or equivalent industry experience and training
•Total of 3+ years working experience in Factory Automation(preferred) related industries or IT network field.
•Network Certification award/license such as CCNA, CCNP, or above is preferred.
Language:
• Fluency in written and verbal Japanese is a must
• Fluency in English or Chinese communication is a plus
