As a Web Application Devops Consultant, you will be part of our technology and digital team, supporting one of our clients in the insurance and financial services industry.
You will work on DevOps activities for a large-scale web-based online insurance system, consisting of multiple sub-systems, contributing to its reliability, scalability, and performance.
The ideal candidate has experience across application development, infrastructure, and data/security domains, with strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
Your missions
Support DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline management, monitoring, automation, and release coordination.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal business disruption.
Contribute to system design, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business needs.
Support security, compliance, and data governance within the application environment.
Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders, providing expertise on architecture, scalability, and reliability.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a System Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Application Engineer.
Hands-on experience in web application management and DevOps (CI/CD, automation, monitoring tools).
Knowledge or experience in the insurance or finance domain is highly preferred.
Familiarity with infrastructure, cloud (AWS/Azure), data management, and security is an advantage.
Proficient in English and Japanese (business level), with the ability to collaborate in a bilingual environment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
