Wellness Associate (Caregivers)

Requirements

• Malaysian Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
• Experience is an advantage, but Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply (training provided).
• Pleasant personality with a caring and helpful attitude.
• Willing to work in Klang, Selangor.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays (rotational schedule).

Responsibilities

Resident Care & Daily Living Support

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility based on individual care plans.
• Encourage residents to maintain independence by assisting only where needed.
• Serve meals in the dining room or resident rooms and assist in meal preparation according to planned menus.
• Ensure residents consume a proper diet and adequate fluids, while respecting personal choices.
• Record and report any changes in eating habits to the supervisor.

Engagement & Social Activities

• Initiate and participate in leisure and social activities as scheduled in the activity calendar.
• Encourage residents to socialize, interact, and participate in programs to build community and friendships.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily resident records accurately and in compliance with company policies.
• Document medication distribution (where applicable), leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
• Report any changes in physical or emotional condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Track visitor logs and ensure proper reporting procedures are followed.

Medication Assistance

• Assist residents with medication according to established procedures.
• Support or supervise residents who self-administer medication.
• Follow physician orders, state laws, and company policies on medication handling.

Safety, Cleanliness & Emergency Response

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, including general housekeeping in resident rooms, laundry areas, dining spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Follow proper emergency procedures and respond promptly to calls for assistance.
• Ensure awareness of each resident’s whereabouts; report immediately if a resident cannot be located.

• Work cooperatively with co-workers and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment.
